About Us
April 26, 2018 West Pecan Coffee + Beer opened its doors. Owners Mary and Josh Foss had a desire to create a space in Pflugerville where people could connect, have a craft beverage, and feel at home in their third space. West Pecan is a place where people can connect with others, with their work, with a good book, or just re-connect with themselves. Mary and Josh have created a safe space for all people and desire for West Pecan to be a bright spot in each customer’s day. From the beginning, West Pecan has been involved in its local community through school and non profit sponsorships as well as donating a portion of proceeds directly to a different local non profit each month through the West Pecan Blend Retail Coffee Program. West Pecan Coffee + Beer is a specialty coffee shop that roasts its own coffee, serves craft beer, wine, pastries, and small bites, and provides a welcoming experience. We can’t wait for you to come by and enjoy our shop.

“Originally from Missoula, Montana, I moved to Texas in 2012. I’m a dog mom to Marlow Lorelei – a beautiful border collie/mastiff mix and a plant mom of 75+ plants. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing arts and crafts, and taking road trips in my converted van “Milo Vantimiglia”.
My favorite part of working at West Pecan is the inclusive culture and the support of my amazing work family (though the Orange Blossom Iced Tea and our cold brew are close seconds😉)!”

“I’ve been working at West Pecan since September 2022. My main interest outside of work is reading and watching anime, and I’m currently studying to become an ultrasound technician in the future. I drink an oatmilk honey latte almost every day, but my favorite drink to make is a hot latte with whole milk – in a mug, of course.”

“I’m a simple human. In my free time, I enjoy reading, petting dogs, and eating cheese. My favorite drink is a honey-vanilla iced latte. I’ve been working at West Pecan since April of 2023. I love working at here because the customers and my coworkers are like family.”
